Council

  • HeartSpace Yurt 4248 East 8th Avenue Spokane, WA, 99202 United States (map)

About the Event

Council is a sacred gathering of people, serving as our equivalent to a traditional church service, where we come together to honor the earth, reflect, and connect.

Join us in circle, where we will offer guided meditation, music, teachings, and rituals. Together, we’ll explore values and belief systems rooted in various indigenous and spiritual traditions, offering guidance and wisdom for living in harmony with ourselves, each other, and the earth.

All are welcome to participate in this inclusive space. Come as you are and leave grounded in the beauty and wisdom of Gaia.

Other Information:

There is no formal dress code. All ages are welcome. Feel free to bring drinks, snacks, or anything to keep yourself or your little ones comfortable. In colder months, we recommend sweatshirts or even a blanket as sometimes the yurt can be a little chilly. You may also consider bringing a journal for writing down reflections.

Location Details:

Our councils are currently held at HeartSpace, a community yurt that is run on donations only. This is a beautiful gift offered by the owner, so we strongly encourage an offering of gratitude within your means (venmo or cash at time of event). GPS will guide you to the home at the end of the street (street parking is available). It's a little uphill so be mindful of snow and ice during colder months. There is some directional signage for "Heartspace" around the house and garage which lead you through the garage, up the stairs, and to the back of the home where the yurt is. Please note that due to the stairs, the space is not wheelchair accessible. If you have any issues finding the event location, please call or text 509-742-0194 BEFORE the 10am start time. After this time, the phone will be silenced in respect for the circle.
