About the Event
This gathering is a special merging of our traditional council service with the seasonal milestone of the Autumn Equinox. As the wheel of the year turns, we pause to honor the balance of light and dark, a reminder of the harmony we seek within ourselves. Around the warmth of the fire, we will reflect on one of our core beliefs: that health and longevity come from caring for the whole vessel of body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
Free, family-friendly, and welcome to all, the evening will begin by sharing a meal together with a soul-nourishing potluck filled with seasonal and meaningful dishes that feed body and soul alike. While we gather and eat, we will hold our council discussion by the fire. We will close with a simple fire ritual of release and blessing, sending our gratitude, prayers, and intentions into the flames as we step into the new season together.
Please bring:
A dish that feels nourishing to your soul (seasonal, ancestral, healing, or meaningful foods are encouraged). Please bring a serving utensil if one is needed for your dish.
A small natural item to offer to the fire (stick, leaf, herb, or written word of release/intention).
A chair or blanket to sit on during council and fire circle.
Warm clothes or an extra layer for comfort outdoors.
This gathering will be held in North Spokane near Mead High School at a private residence. The address will be provided in your confirmation email when you RSVP.
