A remarkable near death expereince
Death comes for us all eventually, but some brush paths with the Grim Reaper before their time. Andy Petro is one of those people. The year is 1955, and in two days, Andy is supposed to graduate high school. The problem is that he decides to go swimming with some friends in a lake far colder than the human body can handle-something he only realizes after it’s too late. So, he drowns, sinking to the dark, murky bottom of the lake to be comforted by weeds. For fifteen minutes, this is where he stayed-physically, at least. Mentally, he went somewhere better, and it all started with a voice telling him to “let go” and a light that would change his perception of life forever.
